Hydromx utilizes Nano-Thermo™ technology to increase the speed of heat transfer, transferring energy in a shorter amount of time and requiring 37% less energy.
Hydromx uses nano-particles suspended in a stable state to increase the speed of heat transfer. It is most suitable for closed-loop heating and cooling systems, where efficiency is achieved by diminishing the run-times of associated equipment. This process extends the life of the HVAC equipment while keeping maintenance cost low.
Guaranteed savings, a three-year payback ceiling, verified emission cuts, and the only full product-liability coverage in the category.
Drops into the existing loop with no mechanical change and no downtime, protecting against freeze, corrosion, scaling and bacteria, backed by a 20-year limited warranty.
Independently reviewed comparable LCA and a published EPD through NSF, contributing toward LEED credit on your project.
NANO-THERMO™
Hydromx evenly suspends nanoparticles to increase the active surface area of the heat transfer fluid. The efficiency of the overall system improves as if the heat exchangers had become theoretically larger.
By requiring less energy consumption to achieve the same performance, Hydromx reduces power consumption, saves money, and reduces carbon emissions. It also prevents corrosion, calcification, algae, freezing and bursting in the systems.

Hydromx improves the heat transfer of the entire fluid to the heat exchanger wall. The fluid in the center of the pipe improves its thermal conduction to the wall, so HVAC systems require less energy to achieve the same performance versus water or a water-glycol blend.
The Institute retrofit a plant-growth lab into a high-density data center on a deadline and a budget, with a −20°F freeze requirement. Glycol would have derated the racks. On the recommendation of Oak Ridge National Laboratory, they switched the closed loop from water to HydroMX.
"We have been very pleased with the performance of these cooling loops and see no evidence of metals degradation." Joseph Hoeflein, Director of Facilities & Research Operations, Fralin Life Sciences Institute
A broadcast center, a commercial tower, and a university data hall — each a closed system where the numbers were recorded on site, not modeled on paper.
Named a finalist in the energy-efficiency category.
An approved service provider for the city's building-decarbonization program.
Recognized in the council's retrofit-resilience challenge.
A boiler technician reported the heat-up time for a large basement zone dropped by more than half after switching.
A resort running 300 solar thermal panels measured roughly a third more system efficiency and rolled the fluid out fleet-wide.
A university facilities director noted clean loop filters and stable chemistry with no sign of metal degradation after startup.
Hydromx arrives on-site in concentrate to be mixed with tap water, one of the fastest and easiest energy-saving products to install. A trade-secret-protected, academically recognized nanotechnology, ready for your closed-loop system.
Over a decade of infrastructure and a specialist team stand behind the fluid, working with selected distributors and resellers across the world to bring closed-loop energy savings to more buildings. If you want to carry or specify Hydromx in your region, we would like to talk.
